Hairstylist Needed to work in Canada by Centrix Hair and Spa

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Consultation:
   • Consult with clients to understand their haircare needs, preferences, and desired outcomes.
   • Provide professional advice on haircuts, styles, and treatments based on client requests and hair type.
2. Hair Cutting and Styling:
   • Perform haircuts, trims, and styling for clients, using scissors, clippers, and other tools.
   • Create a variety of hairstyles, including blowouts, updos, and special occasion styles.
   • Apply hair treatments such as conditioning, straightening, and texturizing as needed.
3. Hair Coloring and Chemical Services:
   • Apply hair color, highlights, lowlights, and other color treatments according to client preferences.
   • Perform chemical services, including perming, relaxing, and smoothing treatments, following safety and application guidelines.
4. Customer Service:
   • Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.
   • Address client concerns and resolve any issues related to their hair services promptly and professionally.
   • Maintain a clean and welcoming salon environment for clients.
5. Salon Maintenance:
   • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation, tools, and salon equipment.
   • Ensure that all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition.
   • Adhere to salon policies, including health and safety regulations.
6. Sales and Recommendations:
   • Recommend and sell hair care products and services to clients based on their needs and preferences.
   • Stay informed about the latest trends and techniques in hairstyling and hair care.
7. Continuing Education:
   • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends and techniques.
   • Attend workshops, seminars, and trade shows as required.

• Suggest hair style compatible with client’s physical features and preferences

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a cosmetology program or equivalent certification.
• Experience: Previous experience as a hairstylist or in a related role preferred. Newly licensed stylists may be considered.
